The History of Our Church
Rev. Wilson Rister and Rev. Wayne Bowers came to our local Association in 1989 with the dream of a General Baptist Church in Eldorado. We started under the Ohio Association as a Mission Church. Two years later we were accepted into the Ohio Association as Emmanuel General Baptist. We purchased our current building and began renovations. It was a labor of love with all the members contributing their time and talent. Today we still continue on with the set purpose of spreading the Good News that Jesus gave his disciples to take to the world. We have had many ups and downs but, we continue in faith to follow the leading of the Lord.

Were a small church & youth group . But we all hope that someday our church will have so many people that will have to build on to have enough space for everyone !
